Dr. Mehdi Rajabnia, vice president of research and technology of Babol University of Medical Sciences, said: In the largest global ranking of universities by "Times Institute of Higher Education" this year, the names of 65 Iranian institutions have been placed among the universities of the world.

He continued: "The Times" global ranking of higher education ranks the world's leading institutions in five fields of education (with a weight of 30 percent), global perspective (with a weight of 5.7 percent), research (with a weight of 30 percent), citations (with a weight of 30 percent), and industrial incomes (with a weight of 2.5 percent); It evaluates based on 13 quantitative criteria.
This official added: This year's ranking was done by analyzing 15.5 million scientific publications, 121 million citations, a survey of 40,000 higher education experts in the world, and data sent by universities.
Dr. Rajabnia admitted: Babol University of Medical Sciences participated in this ranking for the first time and fortunately, among the 65 universities of the country that participated in the said ranking, it was ranked fourth.
He said: In this ranking, in the field of medical universities, Babol University of Medical Sciences ranked 401-500 in the world, along with Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol and Sharif University of Technology, with a score of 42.1-44.9.
