Also, Dr. Hamidi, an anesthesiologist at Babol University of Medical Sciences, said on the sidelines of this surgery: "Cochlear implants have been performed rarely in Iran and have been the first operation in the province and neighboring provinces in adulthood."
He said: "The patient has the power to speak, but the equipment he uses to help hearing is not effective and it is hoped that after this surgery, the patient will be able to return to normal daily activities."
