History of University Publishing Council
In early 1998, using the regulations of the Publishing Council of Medical Universities of the country, a draft statute of the University Publishing Council was compiled and in the fall of 1998, it was approved by the University Research Council.
At that time, the director of the University Publishing Council, Dr. Asgari Nourbaran, was appointed and started the relevant activities together with a number of colleagues. Subsequently, the publishing license was obtained from the Ministry of Guidance.
A space of about 200 meters was considered for the installation of printing machines. The first book entitled "Pesticides" written by the esteemed professor Dr. Ali Akbar Moghaddamnia et al. Was published in 1999 and thus this council continues its activities in the field of writing and translating books in the field of medical sciences.
