According to the International Affairs Department of the University, at the same time as the 9th of Muharram and Tasuai Hosseini, a mourning ceremony was held with the presence of international students of Babol University of Medical Sciences on Monday, 15 July 2024 at Shahada Mosque in Babol.

In this event, Dr. Arefe Babazadeh, the  Director of International affairs of the university, and Hojjatul Islam Habibian, the vice president of the leadership body of the university, were also present, Hojjatul Islam wal Muslimin Seyyed Mojtaba Beheshti, gave a speech and mentioned the sufferings of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon him, in Arabic, and congregational prayers were held.

After the prayer, Mr. Fajr Touj from the Shiites of Foua and Kafriya, Syria, also spoke about the four years of severe siege of the Shiites of Foua and Kafriya, as well as the terrible crime of ISIS during the exchange of prisoners, which resulted in the martyrdom of a large number of children.

It is worth mentioning that this program was organized by the representative body of the Supreme Leader in Babol University of Medical Sciences and with the cooperation of the Student and Cultural Vice-Chancellor of the University and the International Office of the University.
