Dr. Ghadimi announced the presence of 11 researchers from Babol University of Medical Sciences in the list of the top 2% of global scientists in the Stanford University ranking.

Dr. Reza Ghadimi, Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology at Babol University of Medical Sciences, said: "Based on a study conducted by Stanford University scientists on Scopus data, the list of 100,000 most cited scientists in all disciplines as well as the top 2% of scientists in various fields was determined in October." 2021 was published in PLOS magazine, in which the names of 11 faculty members and researchers from Babol University of Medical Sciences can be seen.

He said: "In this list, several parameters on the articles published in the Scopus citation database from 1960 to 2020 have been studied and evaluated, including the number of articles and the number of citations to articles with or without the author's self-citation. Single-author articles referred to the percentage of authors citing their articles, ranking of scientists in specialized fields, and introduction to the specialized field of authors.
